Welcome to the Collegium for Development Studies

The Collegium constitutes a link between development research and Swedish development cooperation. We organise seminars and conferences, publish reports and documents on current issues and develop different networks, where the perspectives of researcher and practitioner meet. Through regular interdisciplinary research seminars, we also support the cooperation between researchers at Uppsala University concerned with international development issues.

The Sida biennial conferences have become tradition in Sweden to provide a forum for a discussion of problems concerning humanity and nature in the North, South, East and West. At the conference "Meeting Global Challenges in Research Cooperation", researchers and development professionals will gather and discuss key themes at the frontiers of research and global development issues.
